Prepares food products to order, processes sales transactions, and maintains quality and cleanliness standards while providing positive customer interactions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner
- Prepares food items by following Jersey Mike’s quality and food safety procedures
- Assists customers with orders or other inquiries over the phone
- Processes sales transactions and maintains proper cash handling procedures
- Performs routine cleaning and restocking duties
- Completes opening, closing, change of shift, or other shifts as assigned by Supervisor
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler and/or Food Manager Certification
- Ability to read, speak, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and all patrons within the store
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds to shoulder height frequently
- Ability to stand for duration of scheduled shifts
- Must be able to maintain reasonable attendance
- Must be able to arrive on time and in uniform at designated times
