Grass Roots Restaurant Marketing / Business Development Position
We own three Jersey Mike's franchises in Sacramento and we plan to continue to expand in the near future. We are seeking a part-time Marketing / Business Development Manager to help us increase in-store sales, catering sales and local brand awareness. The position will entail grass roots sales / marketing working directly with local business, schools and non-profit organizations, as well as consumers, to create awareness and increase sales of our Jersey Mike's food products. This an opportunity to earn a significant bonus as you drive sales growth!
Responsibilities include :
- Developing a rolling 3 month sales / marketing plan
- Visiting local businesses to build catering sales and regular catering clients
- Working directly with local schools, non-profit organizations to establish win-win programs to drive in-store sales
- Participating in community events that promote our Jersey Mike's restaurants
- In-store promotion of catering and holiday / event specials
- Grass roots marketing, including distribution of door hangers, flyers and introductory discount coupons
