Job Summary
There is a new Jersey Mikes coming to Heber City Utah and we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Manager in Training to join our team. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their leadership skills in a retail environment, particularly within a fast casual food setting. The Manager in Training will work closely with experienced managers to learn the ins and outs of store operations, including inventory management, leadership skills, and customer service excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in retail management. This position will include a temperary commute to Millcreek for a few months of training while the store is being built. Once the store is open the position will be in Heber City for the duration of the job.
Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support inventory management processes, including stock replenishment and organization.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve any issues that arise.
- Learn and implement sales management techniques to drive store performance.
- Maintain knowledge of retail math to assist in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to foster a positive work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills people management and leadership.
- Assist the leadership team in various tasks as needed, contributing to team goals.
Qualifications
- Willing to drive to Millcreek for a couple months to train.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
- Basic proficiency in retail math to support operational tasks.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role.
