Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating catering events, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage team members during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate catering services and banquet events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Assist in the interviewing and training of new staff members to build a strong team.
• Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance overall efficiency.

Skills

• Proven experience in a cooking or food management role, with knowledge of catering services.
• Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
• Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Experience in interviewing candidates and training new employees is preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory effectively, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked without waste.
• Strong supervisory skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
