Principal Responsibilities and Key Activities:
Shift Leaders take an active role in the total management of the Jersey Mike’s store.
- Leading operational excellence and the guest experience
- Coaching team members to improve performance
- Maintaining a culture where teammates have the opportunity to learn and grow
- Ensuring the shift is appropriately deployed to exceed hospitality and guest standards
- Helping control cost of sales through inventory management, tracking, effective ordering, and control of waste and loss each shift
- Modeling cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills with experience in staff training and team management
- Strong background in food service management
- Proficient in coaching team members
- Familiarity with food preparation and inventory control
- Knowledge of quick service and casual dining environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
