As a Jersey Mike’s Subs Shift Manager, you’ll enjoy:

Overseeing operations, you will develop and mentor your team, and ensure a positive dining experience for your customers by monitoring and reinforcing food safety procedures, maximizing store sales and profit goals, maintaining QSR standards and ensuring the protection of the brand and assets.
Our Shift Managers support their General Managers as leader of the TEAM who establish the tone of the work environment, and the level of customer satisfaction! They assist with the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience. A successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of great customer service, and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, service-oriented, and friendly
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Work well with a team of crew members
- Capability to learn skills quickly
- Possess cleanliness and organizational skills
- Food service experience is a plus (although not required)
- Has the ability to lead
- Thrive in the Jersey Mike’s process
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct problems before they affect the brand.
- Supervise and direct employees customarily and regularly during work hours.
- Work independently and use own discretion and judgment in executing duties and responsibilities.
- Escalating potential issues to their General Manager.
- Help train, coach, and provide performance feedback to motivate and improve all employees.
