Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly manner.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Aloha POS, for processing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties, ensuring all food items are prepared according to safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including bussing tables and cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food service and customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail when processing transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service operations.
