Jersey Mike’s Story:

Jersey Mike's Subs started as a family-owned sub shop called Mike's Subs in 1956 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The shop was one of the first submarine sandwich places in the United States. The owner, Mike, recognized his customers by name and knew what sandwiches they would order.

In 1971, Peter Cancro, then 14 years old, got a job at Mike's Subs and overheard the owner talking about selling the business. Cancro convinced his football coach to help him buy the shop when he was 17. Cancro changed the name to Jersey Mike's in 1987 and began franchising.

Today, there are over 2,000 Jersey Mike’s Locations!

Job Discription:

We pay MORE than minimum wage:
Team Members: $12.00-$13.00 tips(average $2.00-$3.00/hr.)

Responsibilities
- Handle food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries and offering help
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Assist in stocking shelves and rotating products
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals

Experience
- Familiarity with cash handling and basic math skills
- Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus
- Experience in a grocery store or retail environment is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with a helpful attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
