Key Responsibilities
- Assist CNAs in performing ADLs and routine care
- Conduct resident/patient treatments
- Administer medication according to physician orders and Plan of Care
- Submit pharmacy orders
- Accurately document and record all information
- Give injections of medication as prescribed
- Observe resident health and communicate current condition to RNs, supervisors, and physicians
- Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight
- Provide basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging
- Manage IVs, start IV drips
- Monitor fluid/food intake and output
- Report resident accidents, incidents, and skin breakdowns
- Assist in the admissions process
