The Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for occupants and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in various settings to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out porter duties such as transporting items between locations and assisting with setup for events.
- Execute floor care tasks including buffing, waxing, and polishing surfaces to enhance appearance.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic quality.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is an advantage.
- Experience in floor care practices such as buffing and waxing is beneficial.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures will be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
