Job Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator will manage a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the Business Development and Marketing office. The BD Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to the Business Development and Marketing Team while also managing the company’s social media channels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong communication skills, and is adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can anticipate needs, take initiative, manage day-to-day operations efficiently, handle confidential information with discretion, and ensure a consistent, professional social media presence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the Business Development Team’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements and associated expenses.
· Coordinate meetings, conferences and presentations and follow-ups for the Business Development Team.
· Support the Business Development Team in researching and identifying potential clients, partnerships, and new market opportunities.
· Maintain up-to-date client and opportunity records in CRM systems and bid tracking platforms. Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence on behalf of the team (Lead Forensics, 360)
· Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and vendors in support of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.
· Assist in maintaining marketing collateral, project portfolios, and case studies relevant to target markets.
· Maintain industry knowledge by monitoring trends, competitor activity, and market shifts in industrial sectors (e.g. manufacturing, aerospace & defense, food & beverage).
· Collaborate cross-functionally with other divisions within the Organization. (Ex. Corporate, Estimating, Operations, Safety, and Project Management teams.)
· Manage and monitor the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), ensuring content aligns with brand voice and business development goals.
· Create and/or coordinate project updates, employee highlights, and company milestones for social media posting.
· Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements to increase visibility with target audiences, including general contractors, engineers, and potential clients. Review bi-weekly and report quarterly.
· Monitor and respond to social media comments and direct messages promptly.
· Stay up to date with trends, market changes and best practices in construction marketing and digital branding.
· Assist with special projects related to Business Development and Marketing as assigned.
· Assist with overall company standardization.
· Coordinate planning of company events as needed.
