What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Spray Coater position at Jescraft?
THIS JOB POSTING IS TO FILL OPEN ROLES EXISTING AS A RESULT OF AN ONGOING STRIKE BY CURRENT EMPLOYEES.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Paint product to meet quality standards
- Responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting
- Mix paint and other materials according to specification
- Ensure facility and spray painting equipment are in good working condition
- Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors
- Utilize spray gun and apply paint in conformance with all specifications
- Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards, and make necessary adjustments
- Utilize solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment
- Responsible for material and minor maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness of department
- Monitor Paint inventories to ensure acceptable stock levels
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
· Reliable transportation.
· Basic math proficiency.
· Effectively able to communicate, written and verbal.
· One year of powder / wet spray coating experience desired or one year of manufacturing environment experience.
· Lift, push and pull limit of 50 lbs.
· Stand throughout workday
· Work overtime when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
