Essential Functions
- Responsible for providing maintenance of all JESPY properties
- Evaluate the need for renovations
- Establish budgetary guidelines with the Director of Operations for repairs and capital improvements
- Obtain estimates for all contracted work on JESPY property
- Monitor all project progress through completion
- Coordinate purchase and maintenance of all JESPY vehicles
- Cooperate with the state agencies in any inspection or investigation
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance, carpentry, and painting functions.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of the program budget; submit budget recommendations; monitor expenditures
- Request cash as needed for weekly programming and resolve cash disbursements with the finance department
- Monitor and track any expenditure on the supplied credit card and report all expenditures to the finance department
- Identify donors or companies that may donate supplies for various program
- Developing and maintain metrics relative to service delivery and departmental performance
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Office

High school diploma / GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.Work Experience Requirement
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devicesExperience performing routine maintenanceStrong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC a plusSkills / Abilities
Skilled in the use of hand and power toolsAbility to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessaryAbility to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, ad wrenches,Strong organizational and follow up skillsEye for detailProfessional presentation and attitudeStrong time management skillsPosition Type / Expected Hours of Work

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
