Profile
As our firm continues to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architect/Designer to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on the technical execution of our visionary designs, ensuring seamless translation from concept to reality. You will work closely with our Principal Designer and report directly to a Design Director/Project Manager, contributing significantly to the success of our high-profile projects.
Position Overview:
The Senior Architect/Designer will be responsible for the creation and management of comprehensive architectural drawing packages for high-end residential interiors. You will leverage your deep understanding of building codes and technical specifications to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of our designs, while collaborating effectively with our FF&E and Design Director/PM teams. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detailed Architectural Drawings: Develop and produce comprehensive architectural drawing sets, including construction documents, elevations, sections, and details, for luxury residential interiors.
- Technical Specifications & Code Compliance: Research and apply relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure project compliance. Generate detailed technical specifications for materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with the Principal Designer, Elizabeth, Design Director/Project Manager, FF&E team, and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawing logs, revisions, and submittals.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical design challenges, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.
Requirements:
- Extensive Experience: Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in technical architectural drawings, specifically within the context of high-end residential interiors.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in relevant architectural software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Code Expertise: Expert knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify and resolve technical design challenges.
- Portfolio: A compelling portfolio demonstrating your expertise in technical architectural drawings for luxury residential projects is required.

Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
