Jesuit Dallas is seeking a qualified and innovative educator to teach high school Spanish in a Catholic, all-male setting. Successful candidates will possess a passion for forming adolescents, engaging in life-long learning, and collaborating with peers in the pursuit of the school's mission. This teacher will be expected to:
- Form and educate young men to be open to growth, intellectually competent, loving, religious, committed to working for justice and physically fit.
- Teach, in cooperation with course level teams, five sections of Spanish.
- Collaborate with members of the Language Department in on-going curriculum development and review.
- Participate in all departmental and school-wide faculty formation.
- Undergraduate degree in Spanish or a related field;
- Advanced degree preferred;
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Works in a fast-paced environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse array of contacts;
- May work at a desk and computer for an extended period of time;
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
