Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Sr. Manager Marketing, the Marketing Manager assists in the planning, coordination and execution of advertising and marketing projects by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates, contractors and vendors. In addition, the Marketing Manager supports the department's overall strategic business plan and assists in the development of marketing and communications programs for the company. This is an in-office position that can be based out of West Palm Beach, FL or Teterboro, NJ.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
- Knowledge and understanding of design software; project management software; spreadsheet software and word processing software is required
- Ability to travel for various events, seminars, and trade shows
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to be detail oriented, be flexible to adapt to unexpected situations, and to work independently
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to handle confidential information and projects and protect those from third parties and sources
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport
Main Responsibilities
Manage day to day marketing operational activity & project flow for direct reports including the Marketing Assistant and seasonal internsManage marketing business relationships including external agencies, partners, vendors including key stakeholders both internally and externallySupport Sr. Manager Marketing with the creation of marketing plans, advertising, events and campaigns while meeting the deadlines requiredCollaborates in the development of marketing campaigns and materials to support initiatives for Jet Aviation business units including FBO, Staffing, Charter, Aircraft Management, and Business DevelopmentEnsure all marketing activities and facility signage developed adheres to brand positioning and global guidelinesLiaise with external agencies, designers and print vendors for creation of collateral materials including printed literature, signage and other promotional materialsSource and secure sponsorships and advertising opportunities to aid in the publicity of the brandCollaborate with global teams to help provide campaign support to help meet the global market needsManage accuracy and updates of printed and online directoriesWork with LOB's to identify target markets and audiences to appropriately develop promotional campaignsOrganize photo shoots as needed to support marketing projectsManage marketing budget expendituresSupports in developing and creating direct mailing pieces and e-mail campaignsCreates ad-hoc marketing presentations and reporting as neededWorks with other marketing / communications team members as needed on cross-discipline projectsAssists in the development of strategic partnerships or alliances to promote the company's image, brand and visibilityMaintains adherence to the CI / CD standard guidelines and supports our corporate identityKeeps abreast of the industry trends and articlesPrepares competitive analysis projects as neededPlan and manage multiple national events, consumer events and trade showsBusiness travel for various events, seminars and trade shows as neededExcellent communication skillsOther duties may be required, as neededRepresent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics networkDesired Characteristics
