Position Summary
The Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance and support of all mechanical equipment used by operations to serve customer needs.
This includes a full range of handling services such as aircraft pushback and the safe operation of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years of basic automotive and truck repair experience
- Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job described below in the "Physical Demands / Work Environment" section
- Knowledge and understanding of follow schematics, pneumatics, and manuals without supervision
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to provide written routine reports and correspondence
- Must obtain an Airport ID Badge within 30 days of employment
- Ability to use MS Office Suite

Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
