Who is Jet Dental?
We are a mobile, on-site dental provider for corporations nationwide. We improve the health of our client’s employees by bringing the dentist to their workplace at no cost to them — we simply bill the dental insurance they already have! We provide preventative and restorative care including cleanings, X-Rays, exams, fillings, and teeth whitening on-site. We serve some of the top employers in the country including T-Mobile, PetSmart, the NFL, and more.
Must be located in or near Little Rock, AR area with willingness to travel to surrounding cities/states (typically a 4-6 hour radius) and stay overnight 1-4 nights a week (each week varies) as needed.
As the Office Manager of Mobile Dentistry, no two days or weeks are ever the same, but a typical week will usually include the following responsibilities:
Drive production during each on site event (1-4 days/week), understand your role in sales growth and how your team contributes to, and impacts total profitability.
- Assist in creating a culture and lead your team to prioritize the client experience that is FANATICAL in care.
- Be competitive and have a drive for results around monthly goals and bonus structure. Strong business acumen to make your events profitable is a plus.
- Create travel schedules and make adjustments as needed to align to event needs (4-6 weeks in advance).
- Build a consistent traveling dental staff team that are knowledgeable and passionate about dental health and customer service.
- Insurance verification, patient data entry, posting insurance information, employee timesheet, deposits, inventory, credentialing, etc.
- Manage inventory organization and replenishment of the Mobile van to ensure supplies are stocked for all events.
- Lead your staff to deliver inspiring client services.
- Oversee daily operations of the portable dental office. This includes setting up and dismantling temporary workspace.
- Anticipate staffing needs, talent plan and recruit – both long and short term in collaboration with remote staffing team assigned to your region.
- Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
- Provide inspiring service at each event that meets the needs of the client.
Preferred but not required skills and experience:
-Experience maintaining inventory control, supply ordering
-Clinical experience as a Dental Assistant or Hygienist
-Experience hiring and training all areas of the dental staff
-Strong knowledge in billing and insurance
Required skills:
-Ability to build and retain staff to provide excellent customer service
-Hard working, organized & attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment
-Great driving record and the ability to drive a large Sprinter van
-Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills
-Detailed oriented and problem solver
Schedule:
-Willing to travel somewhat regularly over the entire state including overnight stays Mon-Fri.
-Weekends off
-Hybrid schedule includes work from home during non-booked event days
Position Requirements:
-Ability to lift 50 lbs.
-Willing to learn dental terminology, billing codes, instruments and sterilization methods.
Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay, Commission pay
