The Sales Team Member role at Jet Food Stores is a dynamic position that requires individuals to be customer-focused, efficient, and safety-conscious. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating electronic cash registers, managing inventory, and maintaining store cleanliness.

• Main Responsibilities:
• • Greet customers with a smile and provide prompt service
• • Operate electronic cash registers accurately and efficiently
• • Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain store appearance
• • Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly
• • Maintain store security, adhere to safety procedures, and report any incidents or near misses
• • Perform opening and closing procedures, including counting tills, reconciling discrepancies, and securing the store
• • Assist with visual merchandising, planograms, and promotional displays
• • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations
• • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge

Requirements

To succeed as a Sales Team Member at Jet Food Stores, you must possess the following essential skills and qualifications:

• Essential Functions:
• • Read, write, and understand English at an eighth-grade level
• • Perform basic arithmetic calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for products during vendor check-in
• • Possess sufficient visual acuity to check identification and operate electronic devices
• • Lift up to 50 pounds, carry cases of products, and stock shelves and coolers
• • Stock shelves and coolers, sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, and lift trash containers
• • Enter and work in a refrigerator walk-in cooler as needed
• • React to a fire by lifting the fire extinguisher and using it to extinguish the fire
• • Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
