What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time Jet Stop position at Jet Gas Corporation?
Purpose of Position: Deliver exceptional customer experiences and perform a diverse range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. The following are typical responsibilities for this role, though not exhaustive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
- Provide efficient and courteous service to customers.
- Operate the cash register and manage transactions, including processing payments via cash, check, or credit card, and making change when necessary.
- Precisely prepare customer food orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of our store facilities, equipment, and premises.
- Restock shelves, coolers, and backrooms to ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the manager on inventory control, encompassing receipt verification, pricing, and completion of associated paperwork for merchandise deliveries from vendors.
- Verify customer ID cards for compliance with sales regulations related to beer, tobacco, lottery products, and other restricted items.
- Accurately and promptly complete all required paperwork.
- Foster a professional work environment by adhering to Jet Gas Corporation's policies outlined in our handbook.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
- Maintain a reliable attendance record and adhere to scheduled work hours, finding suitable replacements when conflicts arise. Availability is required for weekdays between 5 am and 2 pm, with a minimum of every other weekend day shift.
