Summary:
The SVP, Aircraft Management (ACM) is responsible for leading and developing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets. This role focuses on driving new business opportunities and ensuring the growth and profitability of our aircraft management services. The SVP, Aircraft Management will provide coaching and motivation to the team while contributing to the overall success.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Coaching:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals, objectives, and sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team members.
- Coach and mentor individual team members, identifying areas for growth and fostering their professional development.
- Motivate and inspire your team to achieve their full potential, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help each team member succeed.
- Business Development & Sales Strategy:
- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the aircraft management division.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, leveraging industry expertise and market knowledge.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their unique aircraft ownership needs and exceeding expectations.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and effective lead conversion strategies.
- Team Management & Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage sales budgets and ensure resourceful utilization of resources.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture built on trust, open communication, and teamwork.
- Regular and predictable attendance.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to prospect and sell to ultra-wealthy individuals
- Knowledge of contracting with solid negotiating and decision-making skills

- Proven track record of success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and building high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of Part 135 aircraft management services, FAA regulations, and the general aviation market.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision, exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (HubSpot preferred)
- Operate office equipment as needed
Education and Work Experience:
- 2-5 years of prior experience in sales leadership with a proven track record of success in an industry targeting high net worth individuals required;
- 2-5 years of experience in aviation aircraft sales and management preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with minimum of 2 years of experience as described above
Physical Requirements:
- Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment
- Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions
- Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis
- Ability to travel frequently (50-70%)
