Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in various facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, ensuring that all areas are kept in excellent condition. The Custodian will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including floor care industrial cleaning and other tasks assigned, while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform general custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct buffing and waxing of floors as needed.
- Execute commercial cleaning tasks in various settings such as offices and industrial facilities.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning assignments are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
