Glazing Technician

Work solo or as part of a large team to renew installations such as countertops, cabinets, and bathtubs.

Responsibilities

• Perform refinishing and resurfacing on bathtubs, showers, sinks, and countertops to restore a like-new finish.
• Apply high-quality glazing, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces using industry-standard equipment.
• Prepare surfaces for refinishing by cleaning, repairing, and sanding tubs or shower units.
• Remove old coatings, rust, and other contaminants to ensure proper adhesion of new finishes.
• Inspect each tub or shower for damage, wear, and other issues before and after refinishing.
• Operate and maintain glazing tools and equipment, including spray guns, buffers, and sanders.
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (masks, gloves, etc.) and ensuring proper ventilation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Familiarity with handling power tools. (preferred but not required)
• Willingness to learn.
