Shift Leader

With the exception of the company-owned Jets Pizza locations that are located in Michigan, Illinois, Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Colorado, all other Jets Pizza locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees. This means that the franchisor Jets America, Inc. has no involvement in running the daily operations of the franchisee, nor does the franchisor have any control or authority over the hiring, firing, wages, hours or terms and conditions of employment of the franchisees employees. The independent franchisee controls all of those topics and makes decisions regarding them without the involvement of the franchisor. Franchisees are small business owners who are the sole employers for their own Jets Pizza locations, and are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including employment laws. Jets America, Inc. is the franchisor of the Jets Pizza chain. As the franchisor it will not be involved with the employment policies and practices at franchised locations or with establishing the terms and conditions of any employment relationship with individuals applying to or hired at franchised locations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF TEAM LEAD / SHIFT LEADER

In this Team Lead role, you help members of our team succeed by keeping morale high and customers happy! Your goal is to help instill a strong work ethic, lead, teach, and contribute to the awesome atmosphere we have at our restaurants. You interact with team members and customers throughout your shift, and ensure service and food are of the highest quality!

Using your strong leadership skills, you help diffuse any conflicts when they arise, and maintain open communication with both customers and team members. You are a hands-on leader, recognizing the importance of "jumping in" when needed! You view your role as a Shift Leader as an opportunity to grow personally and professionally as you work alongside your team and help create an environment of cooperation and fun!

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years of restaurant industry experience
• Leadership skills and traits
• Must be 18 years old
