Volunteer Staff Member

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Volunteers. This role is essential in supporting our organization's mission and making a positive impact in the community. Volunteers will engage in various activities that promote our programs, assist in event planning, and help foster relationships with community members. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while contributing to meaningful causes.

Duties

• Assist in organizing and executing community events, fundraisers, and outreach programs.
• Support volunteer recruitment efforts, including campus recruitment initiatives.
• Manage social media platforms to promote events and engage with the community.
• Provide training development for new volunteers, ensuring they are equipped with necessary skills.
• Supervise students that participate in the program.
• Utilize software tools for tracking volunteer engagement and program outcomes.
• Engage in public speaking opportunities to represent the organization at events, meetings, and businesses.
• Collaborate with team members to develop leadership skills within the volunteer group.
• Contribute in leadership planning for the organization

Requirements

Athletic background is preferredbut notrequired. You decide your own hours for majority of the time. Most of the programs events are May-August so you must either reside in Conway or be willing to stay here for the summer. This position will also require you to travel however, it be everyday.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $0.01 - $0.02 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
