We bring you a complete professional solution with unparalleled expertise and support.  Located in Augusta Kansas, all jobs posted will be onsite Monday-Friday 8-5 with a 1 hour lunch break.  

 

Summary:

This position will be a forward facing sales role in a very phone driven organization. We service all of North America with our product offerings and the ability to perform and communicate in in the form of pre- and post-sales technical support (via telephone, e-mail, web and other channels) on specified technologies; tests products; provides or performs demonstrations of equipment or software as needed.

Essential Job Duties:

 

Logs and tracks calls using CRM database.

Calls integrators and end-users across North America to make them aware of the Jet Stream Systems brand of companies and product offerings.

Provides demonstrations of hardware and/or software as needed.

Consults with customers to recommend solutions and/or configuration changes;

Regular attendance is an essential function of the Technology and Surveillance Sales position. 

Reporting Relationships:

Technology and Surveillance Sales receive supervision commensurate with knowledge, experience, and initiative. Supervision may include technical advice, coaching on interpersonal interaction, or instruction in broad policies and quality standards. The goal of supervision is to develop the employee to the point that they require decreasing supervision and are able increasingly to make independent decisions.

The Technology and Surveillance Sales Specialist has daily personal contact with co-workers and immediate management; daily phone contact with customers and vendors; occasional contact with executive management.

 

Grow Customer Accounts for Profit

 

  • Meet performance targets by growing revenue and increasing the margin of assigned accounts.
  • Increase order size, grow customer transactions, and leverage pricing tools to improve margin percentage.
  • Increase customer base by adding new customers
  • Identify opportunities and convert customer purchases from competition
  • Manage all existing accounts through steady communication using the Customer Database
  • Make Outbound Calls and reach a minimum number of calls every day to present leads.

 

Build Customer Relationship

 

  • Promote positive relationships within the JSS organization to encourage team sales and promote exceptional customer service for customers.
  • Educate customers about new products and product lines by keeping abreast of new developments in the industry.
  • Maintain and update customer interactions in the tracking system

 

Demonstrate Product Knowledge

 

  • Apply knowledge of products and/or services and sell it to customers
  • Explain features and advantages to customers in entire non-technical terms
  • Stay up to date on new offerings, and technology trends through Industry News, and various other sources.

 

YOU MUST HAVE:

 

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 2 year of Sales Experience/Customer Service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy skills – Basic Knowledge to Operate Microsoft Office
  • Desire to be in a Sales role and be accountable for Sales Revenue

What You’ll Do Here…

 

  • You will continually promote and educate integrators, distributors, consultants, and end-users to benefit the use of IP Video and cameras
  • You maintain fluid and dedicated relations with prospects and current customers
  • You arrange and execute site visits to conduct product demonstrations, presentations, lunch and learns and speaking seminars
  • You recommend proper camera solutions and adequate product comparisons
  • You actively participate in trade shows, online demonstrations and other promotional sales activities
  • You prepare weekly sales report with new and existing projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

All applicants will be considered. The will and motivation to make MANY phone calls per day is very important. This is a base plus commission role and top performers can create a very strong pay scale. Opportunities to advance and create a sales team under you are very possible. The sales cycle in our business is from 14-90 days post conversation and should be noted. The ability to properly follow up is essential.
