Overview:
The Company is a rapidly growing provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for gas turbine engines, auxiliary power units, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, electrical and component parts for military and commercial customers worldwide. FAA/EASA Part 145 repair station 18,000 square foot facility with on-site testing.

The ideal candidate should posses 20 years experience in the aviation field, in dis-assemble, inspection, repair, and testing.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for overseeing the production processes managing the personnel, surveillance of all procedures and fluent in component testing. Tasked with managing production schedule customer requirements, improve productivity and efficiency and ensure a high level of quality is maintained within the established timeline and budget while adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help plan and manage shop’s output on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Responsible for leading teams and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication, while also contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans and goals for the organization.
Coordinate with Production Control and Purchasing teams to manage priorities for work in process. Participate in daily meetings regarding work scopes and present relevant product information on requirements, time and cycles, and parts requirements.
Ensure safety in all areas of responsibility, oversee maintenance and repair work, identify areas of improvement, and improve processes, communication (SQDIP) boards, and visual shop management.
Perform all other similar or related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Minimum FIVE years’ experience in Production/Operations Management and/or Operations Program Management within a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul aerospace environment. Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
- A&P strongly desired
- Ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate required.
- Always looking for more efficient methods to complete work at the organizational and individual level.
- Full MS 365 capability in Excel, Project, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Working knowledge of CRM (customer relationship management) and ERP/MRP
- Knowledge of Quantum Aviation System

Basic Schedule:
7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday, additional time as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Execute, Supervise, & Test hydraulics units.
- Execute, Supervise, & Test Fuel Pumps, Fuel Nozzles.
- Execute, Supervise, & Test pneumatic units.
- Execute, Supervise, & Test CSD, Generators, integrated drive gears, Starter Gebetrators, & ETC units.
- Perform alterations in accordance with parts 43 and 145 of the Code of Federal Regulations
- Comply with all safety directives and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform work assignments as determined by shop management
- Ability to work in a shop environment with the ability to lift 50 lbs
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 yrs of experience in aviation component repairs
- Capable of performing full maintenance IAW CMM
- Experienced in hydraulics repairs
- Basic computer skills required (Word and Excel)
- High school diploma
