We're growing the team again, this time in the detailing department!
JET The Agency is a fast-growing, turn-key exhibit house and event production/planning company, building and producing for some of the largest industry trade shows and events across the country. We specialize in providing a complete service package including killer design, in house fabrication and furniture rentals, event production management and consulting.

The successful applicant will manage CAD Detailing of trade show booths, floorplans, electrical layouts, and setup drawings based on approved design renderings.
Responsibilities:
- Generate 3D models and detail layouts from approved design renderings
- Produce accurate and detailed shop drawings for custom woodworking and exhibits
- Specify material, hardware, electrical/lighting specs as well as building techniques in accordance with best, safest build methods
- Generate cut files for CNC routing
- Create scaled floorplans, electrical layouts, and rigging plans for show services
- Build out step-by-step setup drawings for labor's use on the show floor
- Participate and contribute to internal design/layout process
- Maintain and report on daily workflow and schedule to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with AutoCAD, , Inventor, Vectorworks or comparable 3D vector design software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Google Drive (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar)
- High level of experience in high quality exhibit fabrication, architectural millwork, graphics and cabinetry build-out
- Knowledge of a variety of construction and finish materials including metals, plastics, fabrics, woods, and laminates
- Demonstrated knowledge of drafting, engineering, building techniques, mathematics and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform self-directed product research and propose different methods of construction while meeting design intent and budget/time restrictions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to pass a background check
- Minimum 5 years of Exhibit Industry experience using recent releases of AutoCAD and producing 2D and 3D shop drawings
