Job Summary

The Clerical Support Aide is an entry-level office assistant role in a clinic environment, designed to support front desk operations and administrative tasks. This position focuses on assisting current clinic staff by handling routine clerical responsibilities, allowing them to focus on more critical duties. The ideal candidate will be organized, approachable, and eager to learn. No previous medical administration experience is necessary, but general office administration experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative and Front Desk Support

• Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.

Data Entry and Patient Support

• Enter patient information and other data into the electronic medical records (EMR) system accurately and efficiently.
• Provide support to clinical and administrative teams by handling routine patient interactions, freeing up staff for critical tasks.

Clerical Duties

• Maintain an organized workspace by filing, scanning, and managing documents.
• Restock front desk supplies and assist with basic office organization.
• Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the clinic.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous office administration experience preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, data entry systems).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Occasional light lifting of office supplies or files.

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
