Job Summary:
The CNA functions under the supervision and guidance of the NP, PA, or physician and plays a crucial role in the multidisciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients. The CNA also provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional staff.
Responsibilities:

Report interim changes, improvements, or new symptoms after each visit.

Perform specific anatomical placement of electrodes and program the electrostimulation device according to symptoms, treatment site, and direction of nursing staff.

Monitor patients on the electrostimulation device for disconnections, errors in the machine, patient comfort, and completion of programs.

Perform all duties related to decontamination, including cleaning chairs, remotes, sponges, cups, and pads between each patient use.

Assist with any procedures as directed by the NP, PA, or Physician.

Provide exceptional customer service to all patients by ensuring a comfortable and caring environment.

Be proficient in electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Certificate from an accredited institution as a CNA.
- CPR certification preferred but not required.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Exposure to various environmental conditions and hazards typical of healthcare settings.
