Job Summary: 

As an LPN at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with neuropathic conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assist in patient assessments, implement care plans, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress.  

Duties/ Responsibilities: 

• Assist in conducting comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs. 

• Implement individualized care plans for patients with neuropathic conditions as directed by the healthcare provider. 

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider. 

• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising NP, PA, or physician. 

• Educate patients and their families about neuropathy management, treatment options, and preventive care. 

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. 

• Perform diagnostic tests and assist in interpreting results to guide treatment decisions. 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic standards and healthcare regulations. 

• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control procedures, policies, and regulations. 

• Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest advancements in neuropathy treatment and nursing practices. 

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities:  

• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a specialty clinic or with neuropathic patients. 

• Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient monitoring. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and support patients and their families. 

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. 

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. 

Education and Experience: 

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program. 

• Current LPN licensure in the state of Oklahoma. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods. 

• Capability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. 

• Exposure to various environmental conditions and hazards typical of healthcare settings. 

Salary : $26 - $30
