Job Description :
As our new In-Flight Retail Senior Performance Trainer – Engagement, you will focus on creating, auditing and delivering In-flight Retail Training courses to our Cabin Crew and working with management across our Retail teams to drive engagement and performance across the Base network. In addition, you will supervise a team of In-Flight Retail Trainers on a day to day basis.
This role will be based across various locations at our UK airport bases.

What you’ll be doing :
During the Winter season you will primarily focus on creating, auditing and delivering In-Flight Retail training to New Entrant Cabin Crew and In-Flight Retail “Roadshow” training to our permanent Cabin Crew.
During the Summer season you will collaborate with the Regional Performance Managers and the In-Flight Retail Product Manager to drive crew engagement within the Bases, manage HUB content and supplier / brand engagement sessions, develop social media channels for in-flight retail, plus work with base teams to increase participation levels in Cabin Crew incentive initiatives.
You will also work closely with our Retail Analyst team & utilize Tableau and other performance dashboards to effectively communicate performance metrics to the full in-flight retail training and cabin crew base teams to provide guidance on measures to improve performance.
What you’ll have :
Previous experience in the Airline Industry is essential and it is expected that you’ll have spent time previously training and supervising staff.
Strong knowledge of sales techniques, customer service principles, and product knowledge.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively deliver training sessions and provide constructive feedback.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to analyse data and compile comprehensive reports.
Proficient in using data analysis tools such as Tableau or similar software – with the ability to communicate effectively to your Base Team audience.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Flexibility to travel occasionally to deliver training and collaborate with Base Teams.
