Position Summary:
The Project Manager, IT Operations Products is assigned initiatives for IT Operations Products and manages a portfolio of projects through all phases of the project life cycle. The Project Manager provides direction, coaching, and mentoring to share their knowledge and expertise in project management to others.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Scope the length and difficulty of the project tasks, deliverables, and milestones
- Manage deliverables that are within scope as well as changes for those items that are added or deleted
- Schedule and coordinate the tasks of the highly interdependent deliverables, resources, projects, and initiatives
- Identify the projects and/or programs critical path and plan and measure the project goals and objectives
- Report expenditures, and justify cost discrepancies from planned to actual costs
- Develop mitigation responses and strategies to address project risks
- Report status and address project questions with the team and leadership
- Work with various departments and provides, when necessary, assistance in project management to move initiatives forward
- Define and use project management techniques when engaged in projects/programs
- Offer proficiency and expertise to others and shares knowledge and insight into other projects/programs
- Create and maintain a repository for department-level projects and knowledge management, allowing our business stakeholders to regularly communicate relevant information to senior leadership
- Provide up-to-date information on the project dashboard and SharePoint sites to ensure all status reports are current and correct for all stakeholders to review
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Three (3) years of active project management experience
- Practical knowledge of the Project and Program Management Lifecycle
- Knowledge of and ability to apply project management techniques, tools, and documents
- Sound decision making ability, analytical reasoning, and organizational skills with the ability to successfully complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Financial acumen, net present value analysis, moderate return on investment analysis, and ability to structure a business case (or ability to quickly learn said skills)
- Technology and systems knowledge (cursory knowledge of how Information Technology systems work from a business standpoint)
- Strong teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work with little supervision
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- Proficient with the Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office Suite (Excel, Word PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Flexible and able to work at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of Operational Products
- Project Management Certification (PMP)
- Scrum Master

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
