JetBrains seeks an experienced Alliance Manager to lead and grow our AWS global partnership. In this role, you will develop strategies for aligning JetBrains and AWS products and teams, building mindshare, and promoting JetBrains solutions between the vendors and target audiences. You will drive co-selling activities, product alignment, and partnership initiatives while actively leveraging the AWS Marketplace to expand business opportunities with AWS customers.
As part of our team, you will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to align JetBrains and AWS products and teams, GTM programs, and marketing initiatives. A major focus will involve adding products to the AWS Marketplace as a vehicle to drive sales growth
- Collaborate with product marketing to create solution briefs, sales briefs, and case studies that articulate JetBrains and AWS's “better together” story. These will describe the joint value proposition relevant to AWS stakeholders and customers
- You will be the primary point of contact for the partnership, including support for co-selling activities (e.g., engaging AWS Sales/Account Managers and technical advisors), facilitating the sales team's follow-ups on leads, facilitating account mapping to identify opportunities, and uncovering technical / product synergies
- Organize and support strategic and executive engagements between JetBrains and AWS leadership, fostering deeper collaboration on both business and technical levels
- Solicit engagement from AWS technical advisors (e.g., solution architects, solution engineers, and developer advocates) to meet with JetBrains' technical stakeholders (i.e., product leads, product managers, developer advocates, pre-sales engineers) to learn about JetBrains products and the joint value proposition for AWS and AWS customers
- Oversee Marketplace operations, drive co-selling activities, and connect JetBrains sellers with AWS sellers or relevant stakeholders and customers
- Identify, enroll in, and advance participation in AWS programs that amplify JetBrains’ co-selling potential, such as vertical-focused initiatives, product competencies, demand generation programs, and go-to-market campaigns
- Facilitate ideation of co-innovation and co-building opportunities, preparing proposals that highlight potential value and justify efforts
- Build and nurture relationships with AWS stakeholders by maintaining communication and attending events to strengthen collaboration
- Lead JetBrains’ presence at AWS events, such as AWS re:Invent, by organizing high-level meetings, co-sponsoring activities, and presenting the JetBrains value proposition to prospective customers and partners
We would be happy if you:
- Have 5–10 years of experience in an AWS partnerships role or as an AWS Alliance Manager at an ISV, with a proven track record of success
- Have strong understanding of AWS’s organizational structure GTM programs and experience working with AWS sellers, product leaders, and executives
- Are a fluent English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and nurture relationships
- Have technical aptitude. Familiarity with developer tools is an advantage
- Have a bachelor’s degree is highly advantageous. An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred
- Bring a product or Project Management experience is a plus
- Are self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and collaborati
- vely.Show willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time
- Are comfortable working across time zones and cultures, willing to adapt to European and U.S. time zone working hours (<35% of total work time)
