To achieve our mission, we have assembled a technology partnership team to partner on integrations needed for software development. We are seeking an experienced Technology Partnership Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive technical partnerships that enhance our products and expand JetBrains' market reach.
In this role you will focus on these areas:
- Strategic Planning: Engage with JetBrains product managers/product managers and analyze competitive landscapes to identify partnership opportunities that align with JetBrains’ business and product objectives. Collaborate with product owners to prioritize partnerships and write actionable business plans that propose how to achieve our strategic goals
- Partnership Development: Leveraging your proven “hunter” skills, you’ll identify and engage relevant stakeholders to enhance existing technical collaborations. Contact prospective technology partners, present a compelling vision for collaboration, and secure their buy-in for joint go-to-market initiatives and integrations
- Negotiation and Legal Agreements: Lead negotiations, draft partnership terms, and work closely with JetBrains’ legal team to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Product Integration: Act as a bridge between our product and technical teams and technology partners to facilitate product integrations that deliver both technical and business outcomes
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Developer Advocacy, and GTM, to align on objectives and ensure the successful implementation of partnerships
- Relationship Management: Serve as partners' primary point of contact, fostering trust and collaboration. Establish metrics to measure the success of each partnership and maintain strong relationships to drive sustained growth and customer benefits
- Industry Events: Represent JetBrains at conferences and events to promote our brand and develop new partnership opportunities
- GTM execution: You will also aid in helping execute the go-to-market (GTM) plans for different partnerships
Ideally you will bring:
- 5 years of proven record of signing, launching, and managing successful technology partnerships with tangible business value and revenue impact
- Ability to evaluate potential partnerships, identifying both short- and long-term benefits based on business and technology use cases
- Technical aptitude, comfortable with integrations, and working closely with technical teams. Experience with developer tools and JetBrains products is a plus
- English Proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can convey complex ideas, influence others, and galvanize team buy-in. Strong negotiation skills capable of reaching win-win agreements
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve partnership goals
- An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures, willing to adapt to European and U.S. time zone working hours (<35% of total work time).
