Research Data Analyst - Remote

The Research Data Analyst plays a key role in advancing JETNET’s data capabilities by leveraging AI-driven analytics to extract meaningful insights, improve operational efficiency, and drive value for customers. This position will collaborate with research management, technical teams, and other stakeholders to enhance data acquisition, refine performance metrics, and integrate AI solutions into key business processes.

This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, data-rich environment, where contributions will directly impact customer insights and business operations. The Research Data Analyst will also collaborate closely with experienced aviation researchers, adding valuable industry context to data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & AI Integration

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, such as shifts in aircraft sales or evolving customer preferences.
• Implement AI-driven solutions to improve data acquisition, quality control, and operational efficiency.
• Use tools like SQL, Python (or R), Excel, and DOMO to conduct statistical analysis and build dashboards for data visualization.
• Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with research management, team leaders, and individual contributors to design and refine performance-based metrics.
• Partner with AI contractors and internal technical teams to develop and prioritize AI solutions for data automation.
• Train and support internal teams in adopting AI-powered workflows and analytics tools.

Process Optimization & Project Management

• Document workflows and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through data and automation.
• Support ongoing software and process redesign initiatives to streamline data operations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, with clear objectives and effective collaboration across teams.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI-driven data initiatives.
• Track and report on AI implementation success, ensuring measurable business value.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a data-driven professional with a passion for analytics and AI, who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys transforming data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 Years of directly related professional experience.
• Experience in data analysis, AI integration, and process optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and data visualization tools like DOMO.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and optimize workflows.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, research management, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to present insights and recommendations clearly.

Location

Remote within North America in the Atlantic, Eastern, Central or Mountain time zones

Compensation

$65,000 - $80,000 USD Annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
