What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Specialist - 2nd Shift position at Jetpack Shipping?
Summary:
The Cleaning Specialist ensures that the spaces to which they are assigned remain tidy and orderly. This will be a 2nd shift position working from 3 PM to 11 PM Monday through Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors and walls of various types.
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, machines, racks and loose furniture.
- Scrubbing and sanitizing machines and/or production lines.
- Emptying trash cans.
- Washing and drying windows.
- Liaising with the cleaning supervisor to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.
- Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
- Informing the cleaning supervisor of repairs that need to be done.
- Other duties as assigned.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
- Available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends, as needed.
