Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and effectively promoting the company's products. The role involves understanding client needs, managing the sales cycle, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business by cold calling, networking, and following up on warm leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to product inquiries and convert them into sales by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Manage large orders, ensuring clear communication and seamless follow-through throughout the entire process.
- Gather and analyze information on current and potential customers to identify opportunities for growth and increase sales.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities.
- Conduct virtual or in-person meetings with potential clients, presenting products, pricing, and customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company policies and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, logistics, customer support) to ensure smooth service delivery and product fulfillment.
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and acting as the primary point of contact.
- Track and manage sales leads using tools (e.g., Box Nutra Sales Rep Sheet, Lead Entry Form, Closed Sales Sheet) to monitor progress and performance.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, including weekly and monthly updates to management.
- Communicate client requirements effectively to production and logistics teams, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Ensure all necessary documents (Certificates of Analysis, spec sheets, etc.) are prepared and ready for shipment.
- Confirm shipping details, including pickup/delivery schedules, freight methods, packaging compliance, and special receiving instructions.
- Follow up with customers post-shipment to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain CRM systems with up-to-date information on leads, sales progress, and customer interactions.
- Prepare for future reorders and follow-up discussions based on customer feedback and evolving needs.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience / skills
- Experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of supplements and raw materials (ingredients) preferred
Pay Structure:
- Hourly - $17-$20
- Quarterly Commission Bonus based on KPIs
