Dock Hand Position:
A strong commitment to customer service, good communication skills, and attention to detail are a must.
Ideal candidate will have light mechanical experience, familiarity with Personal Water Crafts, boating, the water sports lifestyle and strong interpersonal skills to assist with vessel transportation, deployment, and customer relations. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Position also requires a valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in a “hands-on” environment.
Dock Hand Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet members and provide excellent customer service
- Complete vessel check-in and check-out processes according to company standards
- Perform equipment checks to make sure all necessary safety equipment is on board
- Maintain a clean, well organized, and safe work environment
- Daily cleaning and inspection of fleet
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver and fuel vessels
- Learn local waterways and common boating rules and regulations to provide guidance to members
- Minor trouble shooting and repair of vessels including: changing props, bilge pumps, speakers
- Maintain strong and professional internal communication between team members
- Must have the capability of working without direct supervision
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Complete any other tasks assigned by direct supervisor
