Our vessels, primarily under 28 feet, come from various manufacturers. We are committed to delivering top-notch service and ensuring our members have access to well-maintained, reliable boats.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Yamaha Certified Marine Technician to join our team in Jupiter. The ideal candidate will handle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on Yamaha outboard engines and other vessels in our fleet. You will ensure our boats are in excellent condition and ready for use by our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Yamaha outboard engines.
- Service and repair vessels under 28' from various manufacturers.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, engine tune-ups, and safety inspections.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure parts inventory is up to date.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide repair estimates as needed.
- Collaborate with the service department to prioritize repairs.
- Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
- Yamaha Marine Technician Certification (required).
- Experience with marine engine diagnostics and repairs.
- Familiarity with vessels under 28' from different manufacturers.
- Strong understanding of marine electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Benefits:
Competitive salary: $40-$60/hour DOE
