What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Lead - 3rd Shift position at Jetson Specialty Marketing?
The Commingle Working Lead Associate will be responsible for setting up their machine, feeding finished mail into their machine, and preparing the mail for final processing. In addition, a Lead Associate will assist with the management of operations on a day-to-day basis, track attendance, and plays a key role in checking and maintaining the quality of our final pieces of mail. The incumbent must be prepared for a fast paced and detail oriented role.
Essential Functions:
Perform operator duties, setting up jobs, print out tags, feed machines & troubleshoot issues
Mechanical abilities
Read and comprehend reports
Coordinate with the warehouse
Assist with evaluation feedback for operators
Maintain production goals and manage workflow
Performs other duties that may be assigned
Requirements
Skills:
Two or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Essential:
Experience as a Working Lead Associate
Able to manage operators in a fast-paced environment
Beneficial:
Knowledge of Production and Processing —raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing efficiency.
Mechanical Knowledge - print machines and tools.
