What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Rep I PT position at JetStream Federal Credit Union?
As the initial contact for members, the MSR is a critical position within the branch and an important member of the branch team. The MSR assists new and existing members of the Credit Union with all of their account transactions and uncovers sales opportunities. In addition, he / she acts as a resource in identifying and resolving member servicing issues. The teller is an extension of the sales team and may open new accounts, input loan applications, and through conversations with members uncover financial needs, communicates product / promotional opportunities, and refers members to the branch relationship management team.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities : N30%Greet and welcome every member as they enter the branch; acknowledge by name, if known. Smile and make eye contact. Accurately process all financial service transactions, and maintain responsibility for cash drawer and follow proper balancing procedures. Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures, security and audit proceduresE30%Review and maintain knowledge of products, fees, and marketing material to stay current on offerings for product / service suggestions. Accurately completes and / or collects all member related documentation and system input according to JetStream's policies and procedures.E30%Takes ownership of member issues, when possible, with the assistance of the Branch Manager. Make product suggestions based on the member's needs and refer to a member of the branch team. Provide answers and assistance for member questions / concerns by utilizing resources within the branch.E5� an active participant in branch and Credit Union meetings, special events, member appreciation events, as well as community involvement.N5%Performs other related duties as assigned.

Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard.Physical RequirementsMust be able to see and hear and write and speak English fluently.
