What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-manager position at Jett's Food Mart?
1. Serves as manager in General Manager’s absence
2. Serves as Manager on shift to ensure all standards of excellence relative to customer service are achieved on the assigned shift
3. Responsible for all areas and responsibilities on shift relative to daily operations and as assigned by General Manager.
4. Responsible for supervising cashiers, cooks, and stockers to ensure their job assignments are completed as assigned
5. Responsible for making sure all vendors and employees adhere to company policy and procedures at all times. Including but not limited to cell phone, dress code, closing procedures, cleaning procedures, deli closing and waste
6. Assist General Manager with proper training of all new employees on all job responsibilities
7. Ensures all employees on assigned shift complete all task as assigned
8. Ensures all employees maintain a superior level of customer service as expected.
9. Ensures store and premises are clean at all times (including but not limited to floors, counters, parking lot, fuel pumps, bathrooms, deli)
11. Ensures all employees report all overages and shortages in excess of $5 to supervisor
12. Ensures all fueling positions have receipt paper at all times
13. Ensures employees complete employee merchandise logs when purchasing items while on assigned shift
14. Assist General Manager with ordering and completing build to sheets
15. Assist General Manager with schedule adjustments to ensure store has adequate staff at all times
16. Assist manager with reconciliation of lottery, scratch-offs, phone cards, pay-ins, and pay-outs, and documents each employee's overage and shortage amounts
17. Assist General Manager in compiling all paperwork and submitting to corporate office daily
18. Reports any unusual occurrences involving customers, employees, and vendors immediately
