Jettison is representing a prestigious mid-sized law firm with Chambers-rated Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Business Services groups who is seeking a talented corporate associate to join their dynamic team.

Job Summary

As a corporate associate, you will work on a diverse range of corporate transactions, including national and international M&A deals. You will have direct client contact and take responsibility for negotiations, allowing you to develop your skills and advance your career rapidly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex M&A transactions
• Conduct due diligence and prepare transaction documents
• Advise clients on general corporate matters
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multi-faceted deals
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic counsel
  
  

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• 3-5 years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on M&A and general corporate work
• Experience working with privately held companies
• Licensed to practice law in Virginia
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Finance and private equity experience
• Experience at a large regional or national law firm
• Familiarity with international transactions
