Key Responsibilities
- Provide sophisticated tax planning and structuring advice for cross-border transactions
- Develop innovative solutions for complex international and domestic tax issues
- Represent clients in tax controversies and negotiations with tax authorities
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, providing timely updates to clients and colleagues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive legal services
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm's knowledge management initiatives
- 5-15 years of experience advising on U.S. federal tax matters, with a strong focus on cross-border issues involving both high-net-worth individuals and business entities
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in good standing in NY
- Demonstrated expertise in international tax planning, transfer pricing, and tax treaty interpretation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex tax concepts for diverse audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
- Experience with M&A transactions, private equity, and corporate restructurings
