Overview
Maintain and ensure that all equipment and machinery is capable of running safely and with a Zero Defect Quality approach at all times. Maintain the building and grounds so they are presentable and safe at all times.
Shift Availability: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)

Overview
Maintain and ensure that all equipment and machinery is capable of running safely and with a Zero Defect Quality approach at all times. Maintain the building and grounds so they are presentable and safe at all times.

Responsibilities
- Respond to down equipment in a quick and efficient manner returning it to a production ready state.
- Perform routine preventive and predictive Maintenance activities as scheduled
- Takes the initiative in finding and implementing Safety, Quality, or Efficiency improvements to existing equipment and processes.
- Assist in the installation, start-up and qualification of new equipment.
- Review equipment technical documentation to update preventative maintenance schedules.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent or other information as requested using RedZone.
- Set-up and Changeover equipment as necessary.
- Work closely with production to quickly resolve technical issues.
- Maintain clean and orderly work spaces and Maintenance shop.
- Work with machine operators and train as necessary.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude through trade school or relevant job experience.
- Basic electrical knowledge and ability to continue learning.
- Attention to details.
- Excellent communication Skills with all positions, employees, and shifts.
- Strong Willingness to learn
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- In-depth knowledge of plant operations; and functioning of production equipment.
- Excellent working together as a team or independently as necessary.
- Knowledge of a maintenance spare part management system
- The ability to initiate and coordinate plant equipment and facilities projects under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
- Ability to machine parts using lathes mills welding equipment according to specifications.
- Experience with Lock Out Tag Out
- Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and reading skills; as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools in a safe manner.
- Ability to use measurement devices such as tape measure and caliper.
- Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting, bending, and standing, climbing or walking.
