What is JetZero?
Today’s aircraft contribute around 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase : Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.
JetZero is developing a blended wing aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

The Opportunity
As a Structures Design Engineer, you will be responsible for design, review, and approval of aircraft primary and secondary structures. Responsibilities include :
- Design and develop aircraft structures using Model Based Definition (MBD) principles and tools.
- Design and coordinate the build of Manufacturing Development and Building Block test articles to test
- Generate, review, and / or approve :
- Engineering drawings and design specifications
- Structural test plans and reports
- Compliance documentation
- Design engineering processes and manuals
- Establish and maintain the Digital Thread, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of product data throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct multi-disciplinary design reviews internally and with suppliers throughout the phases of development
- Conduct trade studies and test programs as necessary to validate that structures architectures meet all requirements
- Work with various company departments to ensure integrated structures designs meet all system and aircraft-level requirements.
What You'll Bring
Compensation
Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000. We consider a number of factors when presenting a final offer, including geography, internal equity and years of experience and expertise.
