Caregivers needed - $525.00 sign on bonus (once 300 hours worked AND if 90% EVV compliance)

Caregivers responsibilities (snapshot)
As a Caregiver you will be responsible for assisting the client in aspects of their daily life as is indicated by their care plan. Caregivers have an important role in allowing our clients to maintain their independence. Caregivers are provided training and tools to be successful in their role, including training on the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and are provided access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training are also provided to all interested caregivers as Professional Development.
- The Caregiver will demonstrate understanding of and encourage the independent living philosophy.
- The JEVS Care at Home Caregiver will complete a competency examination after attending a training and orientation that address standard regulations. Annually thereafter, the JCAH Caregiver will complete an annual re-certification course and test.
- The Caregiver will maintain confidentiality of client information as per HIPAA regulations.
- The Caregiver will complete instrumental activities of daily living, according to the client’s Plan of Care.
Required Education and Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- A High School diploma or GED is required
- Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager
- Completion of Caregiver Orientation
- Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program 80% passing score on post-orientation exam.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
