The Educonnect Career Navigator is a member of the Career and Technical Education division and reports to the Director of Educonnect. The Career Navigator is responsible for carrying out the goals and objectives designed to ensure that Educonnect students are prepared to transition in externships and employment.
Responsibilities :
- Informs students about externship opportunities and requirements
- Designs and delivers relevant soft skills trainings to increase student likelihood of workplace success
- Works with students to identify and apply for employment opportunities
- Assists students with completing externship application and requirement to enter externships
- Support career readiness by providing coaching that includes mock interviews, resume review, employer panels, and referrals to Job Developers, Career Coaches, and partner organizations.
- Maintains accurate records of job placements and retention on a regular basis
- Performs other additional duties as needed.

The base pay for this position ranges from $49,000 to $57,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
