Primary Job Functions
- To maintain various inventory reports for parts and supply usage, ordering parts, and working with vendors. The incumbent works under moderate supervision.
- Responsible for parts and supply ordering process. Creating CMMS purchase orders, ordering parts and supplies, receiving parts and supplies, closing out completed orders in the CMMS, and the stocking of received parts and supplies.
- To perform daily cycle count on parts inventory, audit of parts and supply vendors weekly count sheets for accuracy.
- Generate weekly and period end inventory financial reports.
- Work with internal staff to ensure the ordering and receiving of the correct equipment, parts, and supplies.
- May be required to work both (North and South) complexes as directed.
- To provide backup assistance in the absence of the department administrative assistant for the purpose of receiving and route telephone calls, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Possess good general storeroom and organizational skills.
- Prior knowledge of personal computer applications helpful; Excel, Work, Power Point, and Access.
- Possess good communication skills, oral and written as well as good telephone skills.
- Ability to learn and follow Company and Distribution Center policies regarding safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks and related power equipment.
- A valid driver license is required for operation of company pickup trucks.
- The work environment is characterized by normal office and shop conditions. The incumbent will spend the majority of the workday sitting at a desk or computer terminal or working within a limited area.
- Exposure to potential hazards exists with respect to walking through the warehouse and shop areas while performing some job functions (picking up mail, attending meetings, etc.).
- Potential exposure to vehicles and equipment lubricants and solvents exists.
- Work in areas with approximate temperatures ranging from above 80 degrees to -0 degrees F.
